OIL TO GEOTHERMAL CONVERSION
We replaced our existing FHA oil fired furnace and propane hot water heater with an open loop Climate Master geothermal system in early October 2008. We have been very pleased with the performance of this unit so far. I often hear the question: "Does your new system keep up with the extreme cold?" We are happy to say that even on the coldest days where we saw temperatures at -20F our new system has maintained the settings on our thermostat and has kept our home warm and comfortable. Also, we notice a much better distribution of the heat compared to our old furnace. There are no cold spots anymore, each room is at a consistent temperature top to bottom.

By converting to the new system we have eliminated the need for oil and propane and we now have everything on one electric bill. We have noticed a savings of about $200 for our coldest month (how much oil and propane we would have used compared to the electric bill). Also, our hot water has been a lot more consistent and we never run out where there are four of us taking showers back to back every morning. And, there's also a $2000 tax credit for our conversion!

Jay did a great job installing our new system and is very easy to work with. He was very thorough taking measurements and sizing the system. There was minimal disruption to our routine during the installation. He is also very responsive and supportive when it comes to questions, concerns, and start up. He knows of the tax credits and the programs that PSNH has to offer. We highly recommend him to anyone who is considering making the conversion.

HIGH EFFICIENCY WALL HUNG BOILER REPLACEMENT
Jay Aucella of Aucella LLC Replaced my failing propane heatmaker heat and hot water boiler with a new Triangle Tube Prestige PE 110 heat and hot water boiler. Jay came highly recommended by my builder, and I was not disappointed at all! I contacted my old service company and Jay for information and quotes on replacements for my failing boiler. Jay arrived on time, inspected the installation area, took measurements, checked attic and basement for insulation and drainage questions, and did the appropriate calculations to make a recommendation for a new unit to suit my needs. He did not have the nice glossy brochures that the other vendor had to show me, but he understood the product he was promoting far better than the vendor with the glossy brochures, and made sure it would fit all my needs. The other vendor did none of the measurements or checking and gave me erroneous information to boot! I received quotes from both on the same unit and Jay was less expensive than the other company and did not require that I outsource the venting through my roof as the other vendor did.

Removal of the old boiler and installation of the new unit took two days to complete, Jay and his helper arrived on time, worked efficiently, neatly and with confidence! Jay was sure to ask about my preferences on venting location and other things that preference was an option. Jay and his helper did the work of a carpenter, a plumber and an electrician, all with skill, confidence and efficiency! I was replacing floor unit that vented through the wall with the new unit that is wall mounted and vented through the roof and condensate drains to the basement, so the amount of carpentry required for this installation was substantial. He also has the tools for all these trades, and was well equipped with all the parts he might need to do the installation. When the installation was complete Jay reviewed the system operation with me, explaining it's function and operating procedure.

I can't tell you how happy I was that my builder gave me Jay's number! I love my new boiler, am extremely satisfied with Jay's quality installation work, and would highly recommend him without reservation to anyone seeking his services.
